Walnut Street School Congratulations to our good friends at the Walnut Street School in Uniondale who recently won the Promising Practices Award from the Character Education Partnership in recognition of their great mentoring programs. Recent Events MENTORING MATTERS CONFERENCE : We'd like to thank all the coordinators, mentors, special guests, our wonderful volunteers and, of course, the 160 young people who attended Saturday's session, all of whom helped make this year's Mentoring Matters Conference at C. W. Post such a success. Special thanks from all of us to our own Franca Floro who works so hard to make this event so special every year. It seems like Franca keeps raising the bar higher each year and yet she still manages to exceed expectations. Well done Franca! |
